Joint Press Release by HDB & URA - Government to release two sites with estimated yield of about 1,300 units in April 2014

To provide developers and home buyers with more choices for private housing, the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and Housing & Development Board will be releasing a commercial and residential site, and a residential site respectively for sale in April 2014 under the 1st Half 2014 (1H2014) Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme. Together, these two sites can yield about 1,300 residential units.
2 The commercial and residential site at Meyappa Chettiar Road is launched for sale under the Confirmed List, while the Executive Condominium site at Sembawang Road will be made available on the Reserve List today.
Other Details
3 The tender for the site at Meyappa Chettiar Road will close at 12 noon on 19 August 2014. Selection of the successful tenderer will be based on the tendered land price only.
