Bayfront Bridge opens, allows direct link between Marina Centre & Marina South

SINGAPORE : The Bayfront Bridge at Marina Bay was officially opened to traffic on Sunday.
The bridge is next to the iconic The Helix pedestrian walkway which was officially opened to the public on Saturday night.
Vehicles were allowed onto the Bayfront Bridge at 3pm on Sunday.
The bridge provides a direct connection between Marina Centre and Marina South.
Many people also turned up to check out The Helix which is a world's first in terms of engineering design and architecture.
Pedestrians planning to cross from Marina Centre to the Bayfront area can also use The Helix to get to the Marina Bay Sands integrated resort from June.
