COE prices end mixed in latest bidding exercise
The premiums for Category C saw the sharpest fall, dipping from S$48,890 to S$46,502.

SINGAPORE: Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums ended mostly lower among the five categories on Wednesday (Mar 23) in the latest bidding exercise.
For Category A cars, or those 1600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp, premiums closed at S$45,504, up from S$45,000 in the previous exercise. Premiums for larger and more powerful cars in Category B fell by S$1,102, down from S$47,604 to S$46,502.
Open category COEs, which can be used for any vehicle type but end up being used mainly for large cars, decreased to S$46,667, from S$48,002. Motorcycle premiums recorded a rise of S$86, closing at S$6,589, up from S$6,503 in the last exercise.
COEs for commercial vehicles, which include goods vehicles and buses, recorded the sharpest dip. It fell from S$48,890 to S$46,502, a decrease of S$2,388.
A total of 7,894 bids were received, with a quota of 4,249 COEs available.
