Track fault caused delay on North-South Line, says SMRT

SINGAPORE: A track fault caused a temporary delay in the North-South line on Friday evening.

An SMRT spokesperson said there was a delay for 10 minutes on the North-South line at about 6.15pm.

This was due a track fault at Marina Bay.

SMRT said the fault has been rectified, and service has returned to normal.

The spokesperson said during the delay, announcements were made at stations to inform commuters to expect a longer wait.
